What to do about a 4.5 year old-year-old soiling underwear shortly before bedtime when he usually uses the toilet?

This has only started recently. MyMy 4.5 year old who-year-old son was well potty trained is starting. He has only recently started to soil his pants. ThisThis always happens in the 30 minutes before bed timebedtime, always when he is in his room playing alone.
