What I would like to contribute: Even seeing parents has been observed many times to be calming for children (of about any age) and that is the only fact I would take from all those studies and not go into discussions about stress. Consequently, if you feel you need to calm your kid pick a stroller where its facing you. If you want your kid to see more of the world, pick the other kind. It's a matter of choice and the individual kid, nothing else. No general rule! | |
