Further research shows they're wrong and you're right; most women in other industrialized nations held up as shining examples of universal healthcare (UK, France, Canada) do in fact have their children in a hospital (the UK distinguishes between a "midwifery unit", which can be the maternity ward of a hospital, and the hospital proper, which blurs the line). | |
