Assuming the circadian rhythm is thrown off, sleep can become affected that can lead to extending sleep or periods of laying down, which may lead to #3. | |

If you have the urge to sleep, you probably need it unless you have some sort of disorder. That article is just saying to be active while you're awake instead of being a lazy bum. In any case, waking up late doesn't mean you slept a lot. | |
