But, given my and the stereotypical growing up experience, I suspect he will push back and test my limits no matter how much or little I push him now. As a one off example, I was forced to play my guitar extensively growing up and yes, I was very resentful. But as I matured I began playing it again. And now my boys really enjoy playing and singing with me. I cannot resent that which now brings me joy. | |
