There may be times when one child gets to go out and do something but the other cant and that's just the way it is. (Not trying to have a harsh tone but cant convey that in writing.) If you already have a habit of getting a haircut with him that means there were lots of trips already, that she didn't get to go on. Why then isn't it ok to say, "Sorry dear son, but today is your sisters day. Your day is next Saturday." EVEN if its something he wants to do. | |

I don't need an excuse to spend time with her.. I live for it.. but I also live for him and leaving him out has to make sense to him. "Not your turn" makes him sad and that kills me. (I'm a mush in their hands) | |
