The part about addressing the teacher as what your son calls him is a bit confusing to me and it would be nice if you elaborated a bit on what you would say to the child to show empathy while also helping that child to learn to move past such things with the ease you indicate here. What would you actually say, "oh forget about it because we can't change the past?" | |
