Do any seats exist that are both

  1. swivelling for easy installation/removal of child
  2. able to install to a 2-point seat belt in an older vehicle?

I have found seats that fulfill each of (1) and (2) above, but not both together.

  • Does the car have ISOFIX connectors? Or is the only connection point the 2-point seat belt? madeformums.com/reviews-and-shopping/shopping-guides/… – Marisa Dec 1 '17 at 20:14
  • Definitely no ISOFIX, just a 2 point belt. It's an aging camper van. – Sideshow Bob Dec 2 '17 at 0:08
  • Thanks. In the UK you have to switch from baby to toddler seat around 9 months (the law specifies a weight) which I'm guessing might still be too early for the little one to climb up herself? – Sideshow Bob Dec 5 '17 at 10:30

A toddler seat and booster seat are not the same thing -- toddler seats still have buckles, booster seats do not (they are essentially just platforms to raise the child above the car's seat, fitting better in the car's seatbelt). – Acire Dec 18 '17 at 19:29
