Does using sign language really accelerate a child's ability to speak? Why does it matter whether they verbally say it or not? If you're worried about the impression that others would get, just explain to them that the sign means thank you. Every time I've done this, the other person has been even more excited than they would be with a normal thank you (especially because in ASL the sign looks a lot like blowing a kiss). |

How do you tell if a toddler is lactose intolerant? @Hairy It probably makes more sense to make your own question, that way you get pinged when there are answers/comments. I'm not familiar with this particular site's rules, but I would think you could ask "Is this a sign of lactose intolerance" and explain your situation. |

How do you tell if a toddler is lactose intolerant? @torben We have, and he said it is a good possibility, but didn't have any suggestions for how to test the theory other than eliminating dairy entirely. |
