What are some strategies for raising a bilingual child? Thanks for your honest answer. I do realize the task is daunting but I would like to know that I tried to give her the best shot I could. Hopefully what she can retain will help her gain an affinity for languages later on to make learning new ones easier. I will be the primary caregiver and staying at home so I'm hoping that will give us an edge :) |

What are some strategies for raising a bilingual child? Great points. I was fortunate to find Tagalog Flash Cards from Borders.com. I was very surprised, excited, and bought each one they had. The books and DVDs ARE a little harder, I've found. I will have to ask relatives to mail some. |
