At what age should siblings stop sharing their bedroom? @awe: it could well be! That said, I have two cousins (both female) who shared a room, and they are not what I'd call the best of friends. |

At what age should siblings stop sharing their bedroom? @bobobobo I was somehow sure he could never hear me. Maybe he couldn't, 'cause I couldn't hear him! |

How do you cope in the first few months? @Doug Thanks! He's now 4 months, and what can I say--things are amazing! |

What is a positive way to handle a boy who acts like a girl? @Justin Sorry for the rather late reply! The answer is that I was different from the other boys ;-) (either that, or the phase has been 13 years long). As you say, a 3 year old barely has any gender-specific traits, and whatever happens then will probably have no correlation to what goes on in their later life. More and more socialisation may help them to either realise they have more in common with boys than they currently appear to, or less! :P |

How do you cope in the first few months? You have some good points about the emotions. I worry about my wife because, I think, since birth, I've cried more often (due to stress or whatever) than she has! Definitely passing this advice onto her. |

How do you cope in the first few months? "this 'special' time"—you've got that right. All the people who've said that to me have fallen into one of two groups; a) the parents (who seemed to know more than they let on), and b) the non-parents (who seemed to think it really would be just magical for us). ;-) |
