When your child says something embarrassing in public… how do you deal with it? if it is "say it to me, the parent, first" that is better, I mildly object to "whisper it to me, the parent, first" just on the basis of encouraging (even accidentally) talking behind people's backs, etc. |

When your child says something embarrassing in public… how do you deal with it? hmm, I'd be hesitant to advise saying things secretly about others as a normal conversation pattern.. more like, if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all? (once they can distinguish between the two, of course) |

What is the impact on kids of having two working parents? yeah, we love our family daycare, and I feel our son is learning a ton there from the other kids of various ages (mostly older, as far as learning goes, but I suppose he is teaching the younger kids too) but ... welcome to the world of being constantly sick. It's inevitable. Imagine how people who work at hospitals or schools feel! :P |
