comment How to raise a child between agnostic parent and believer relatives?
As a trivial non-detailed example: if you think any killing is bad - George Orwell has some pretty un-nice things to say about you. If you think some killing is justified, Ghandi thinks you're way wrong. etc...

.... there's a reason why people wrote endless volumes on ethics and philosophy, and not ALL of them were, in Mel Brooks' words, "BS artists"

You seem too sure of your own ethical system. "I want my child to not to do bad things because the bad things are bad" - things aren't quite that simple or clear cut. Who gets to decide what's "bad"? You (if so, aren't you simply substituting yourself for god?) Your child (do you trust a 5 year old to decide what's good or bad?)? Majority vote (or who? people who are guaranteed to think like you)? Memetic evolutionary process in human culture? Many people have many widely varying definitions of what "bad" means, more so once you start getting into the devilish level of nitty gritty details.

The main point and definition of agnostic is that they don't know if specific belief is correct. Whether they hold any particular belief is irrelevant - agnosticism is about the certainty level and not the content (an agnostic can very well think that there's probably no god. Or that there is one. Or that the Force binds us all together. The point is, they are not SURE they are correct, but they are sure it's impossible to know who is correct). By contrast, an atheist is 100% certain that there's no deity of any kind.

@PravinCG - that's not a correct defnition. While agnostics are likely to behave in that way, what defines agnostic is simply that they do not know what the "correct" form of spirituality is (Wikipedia has enough details that I won't bother spamming the comments with the elaboration). However, quite a few non-agnostic believers behave exactly in the way you describe as well.

comment How do I tell my mom that I am not Christian?
"So you can be Christian and Druid at the same time" - I'm not an expert at either religion, but I'm almost certain that this is wrong for most mainline Christian denominations. You may want to double check on Christianity.SE site to be certain.

" It might help if you start the ball rolling by telling her initially that you are exploring other religious ideas and beliefs outside of Christianity, and leave it at that." - another possible good first step - even before this one - that I saw mentioned in an answer on a separate question - is to merely start off by mentioning that one has doubts about the faith in question. That lays the groundwork for your suggestion while being even less of an initial shock.

comment How do I tell my parents I'm no longer Christian?
"Give them the story of faith with no works and works with no faith" - this seems to need a little bit more detail to be of actual actionable use to the questioner, IMHO

comment Wrist tendonitis from carrying babies
Also, what are the twins' ages? There's a big physical difference in terms of picking up and holding a baby who can't support head yet, vs older baby, vs. a toddler who can hold on themselves pretty well.

Can you please clarify - is the problem the act of picking up, or the act of carrying once picked up? The answer may differ based on that.

"Don't give a lecture about all the psycho women who ruined your life" - that's easy to fix. Just absolutely prohibit him from dating non-psycho women. Either he will (as any sane teenager) date non-psychos on principle; or he will listen to you, date a couple of psychos, get that experience out of his system early; or if he's really smart, will ask you why you're giving such a weird advice, which nicely seguays into sharing your experiences with him at HIS prompting.

Can you clarify the "i'm just here" part? In my experience, kids that age ASK "can I help you get this, can I grab that" before even being asked, more often than not.
