comment 14 month old baby no longer eating or drinking after MMR vaccine
"If you google MMR and loss of appetite, you will get numerous hits" if you google "vaccines cause autism", you'll get numerous hits, too, but that doesn't mean anything beyond that there's a ton of bad information on the Internet. That's why including specific sources is so important.

comment Why do humans require assistance in childbirth so frequently?
The first two facts simply aren't true. There are actually countless mammals that stay in family units their entire lives. In some cases, only the males leave as they enter adulthood. Similarly, there are quite a few cases of mammals where raising children is either communal, or delegated to specific members of the group.

comment How do I help my son deal with a sexually abusive bully in preschool?
One or possibly both of his friends have had similar conversations with their parents about playing with Cain, but as 4 year olds, they have a hard time remembering that that's what they're supposed to do, particularly when they're in the middle of having a good time and Cain shows up. I don't think my son really wants to leave the school; it was merely him trying to come up with a solution. I know he'd be very sad to leave his friends. We'll definitely follow up with the school, to see what steps they're taking. It seems complete separation isn't likely to be an option, though.

comment Causes and prevention techniques for crooked teeth?
You don't believe what to be true? That we don't fully know what causes it? Or that losing teeth can contribute to crooked teeth? Or that early intervention by a pediatric dentist can sometimes help prevent teeth from growing in crooked? From the rest of your comment, it seems like you disagree that poor dental hygiene is the sole cause of crooked teeth, but no one has actually claimed that to be the case.

comment How to handle my baby boy urinating in bath?
@ShadowWizard There are plenty of examples of questions that are duplicates except for the age range, because the developmental level of the child is such a game-changer that it radically changes the question. You're welcome to disagree, but I find it extremely difficult to imaging a scenario where "why is my newborn doing x" would be a duplicate of "why is my toddler doing x".

comment How to handle my baby boy urinating in bath?
It's generally a good idea to ask a new question, instead of editing to radically change the question and thereby invalidating existing answers. A question about a newborn peeing in the tub is radically different than a toddler doing the same. My suggestion is to roll back the edit, and post a new question.
