What is a reasonable amount of time to wait before family visits your new baby? We let them visit while the baby was still in the NICU. But we were picky on who could hold her. Lots of hand sanitizer! By many bottles and have them always around for guests. |

Why does my baby grind her face into my shoulder? My baby is 4mo and just started doing this. She does it when she is tired. But being younger probably looking for a nipple. I miss my baby being litle :( enjoy it while she is it doesn't last long. |

What are good things to look for in formulas for newborns who need to supplement? I'm glad :) I think the massaging and working with him will probably be the best course of action in the end. I know it sounds weird.. but I think its kinda fun to help my baby poop... she makes funny faces and gets all red.. lol. |

How quickly do I need to change my newborn with a dirty diaper? LOL! omg I'm missing my baby now! Ours has just started making the "attempt to speak noises" waaa, maa, and stuff like that.. I'm going to be sad when I cannot smother her with kisses any more lol. |

How quickly do I need to change my newborn with a dirty diaper? Yeah she doesn't fuss if it's her first round usually.. but if she has a 2nd round of pee in it (I am assuming by the amount) then she gets restless and wiggles a lot and makes noises of distress. We have lucked out I believe, she doesn't really cry and she is pretty easy to read. We can pretty much tell when she is hungry, gassy/upset tummy, peed, or wants her pacifier. Omg.. I love her so much.. I wish I was at home right now holding her instead of being at work :/ |

How much should I interact with my newborn? Nice answer, I can't get enough of my baby. I am always kissing her and massaging her hands and feet. It's amazing how I can't seem to make time for anything else but man.. I can get lost for hours just loving on my baby :) |

How quickly do I need to change my newborn with a dirty diaper? Yeah, Pretty much when I can feel that shes peed(fluffy diaper), right after I feed her, or before I feed her if her diaper is full, when she is fussy(she lets us know when shes ready to be changed), and when she is pooped immediately. |

Resources for helping children understand that TV/Films aren't necessarily “real” @Torben, I have 3 :) 9yr, 8yr, and 2mo. Hands are full, I didn't say I get to do it all the time :P Just when I can and they are available I do it. I like doing it with the kids especially when it is a movie that seems really realistic and their lines of whats real may be blurred. |

Getting a good diagnosis for possible mental issues? What I really want is a doctor to diagnose my son mentally challenged and then purpose the magic fix to help him mentally grow to his own age. I feel the way he acts is similar to other kids I know who have Autism but according to everyone else it's all in my head. |

I praise him whenever I actually can and sometimes I even fake it, like with bad art work and such. Teaching him proves nearly impossible as he refuses to pay attention and constantly wants to have his say even if its completely non related. "ya thats great, but my brothers name is Chris and that's i cant blah blah blah" I love him.. it breaks my heart to see him the way he is. Good points in this post though. |

Resources for helping children understand that TV/Films aren't necessarily “real” Yeah it really annoys me that Redbox has started stripping all the extras out of the discs.. If I like the movie I will watch every minute of extras the disc has :P |
