Web developer from the GTA, principally on the .NET stack but I find myself identifying with Rob Conery's mindset more and more. I initially thought he was some sort of hippy surfer, but over time came to realize he is in fact a righteous dude (recommend you do check out TekPub). I am currently exploring Ruby and RoR in my spare time. Otherwise, MVC 3 by day for now.
Started with web development way back in the days of CGI and later worked with Classic ASP and PHP.
Lots of experience with Javascript, having done AJAX style programming as early as 2001 before the phrase was coined (and before many helpful frameworks were available.. it's okay, you learn a lot that way!).

4 year old refuses to color Indeed, our son was self-conscious with regards to how he was holding the crayon. After we showed him how to hold it properly, he was at least willing to spend periods of time working on it and has finally completed his assignment, although still reluctantly. He finds it "boring". Regardless, this is much better than outright refusal. Thanks everyone for the advice! |

4 year old refuses to color This was my initial reaction, actually, but thinking this way doesn't resolve anything. |
