Where to find data on primary schools in wales? ...Actually, I just read this statement from the Welsh gov't. "Banding" (their particular method of ranking schools) was only applied to secondary schools and not primary for reasons stated in the link. |

Where to find data on primary schools in wales? I don't know about Wales specifically, but it's my understanding that many jurisdictions are reluctant to release this kind of data. The concern is that it's counter-productive to education. I assume you've seen this site, but there isn't much to go by! |

10 months baby started liking for chocolate He never suggested cutting them off or kicking them to the curb. Also, the National Institutes for Health in the US recommends waiting until children are at least 1 year before they begin to have chocolate (or anything else with caffeine): nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/ency/article/002455.htm |

15 month baby never sleeps through the night That's a tough situation. I know how hard it can be when you're not getting sleep. It'll get better though. The responses to this question might help you: parenting.stackexchange.com/questions/3002 |

At what age should you start giving your children pocket money? The question is about when to give it. The OP already said it's a good idea. |

Is it harmful to let a 4 month old baby eat an Easter peep? +1. Also, most 4-month-olds I know don't even eat solid food, let alone junk food (although I guess it's debatable whether a Peep is "solid" food!). |

How can I tell parents of a 1-year-old that they're doing it wrong? This is a very interesting (in the academic sense of the word!) problem. I agree with @DA01's advice. Highlight your vast experience in getting children into a healthy sleep pattern and also that sleeping issues are one of the most difficult things for new parents. With the other issues, if you want to avoid conflict, you can slowly and covertly through osmosis assert your influences. |

Do babies who watch TV start speaking late? In case anyone else is wondering (like I was), 600 days is about 19.5 months. |

What qualities should one look for when choosing picture books for young children? @KitFox yes, that's probably a more accurate translation! My English isn't perfect, particularly when it comes to idioms! |

Are cloth diapers really more environmentally minded than disposables? (+1) I think the answer really has to be "It depends..." (as @Treb has hinted at in his answer) because it's not just a simple choice between disposables and diaper service. There are a broad range of disposable options from dolphin killers to compostable. And you can use a cloth diaper service that bleaches diapers 7 times in 95 C water or you can own your own cloth diapers and wash them in 45 C water with "green" environmentally-friendly detergent and recycle them for multiple children! |

Can you detect peanut allergies in babies from kissing on the cheek? @GdD is right. Don't follow the advise in this answer! Consult a medical professional. (-1) |

Should we worry about my toddler accidentally banging his head against the sides of the crib? Thanks for your answer. It's reassuring to know that it happens to other kids! |

Sleeping routines and mother-father differences Thanks for the answer! Those are good ideas. He sleeps (more or less) pretty well at night. He goes to bed at 19:30 and never wakes until 05:30 at the earliest and usually until 06:30. It's not possible because of schedules for my wife to put him to bed at night, but I think your suggestion to have him nap at the daycare is great. We haven't tried it yet and it may be the best approach. I really appreciate your response and input! |
