comment How does one address Christianity with their children in a mixed faith marriage?
For you, as the Christian, I would look at what the whole message of the cross was, and teach that: People do bad things to you. People need forgiven by you. Love what is right, fair, and just. Avoid greed, hate, etc... Do to others what you want them to do to you. I suspect there is little to disagree there, even among many religions. The specifics of the christian faith (cross, creation, etc...) can be added at a later date when the young adult is better able to choose what they want to believe (but their training will embody the principals either way).

comment How do I get an easily distracted 5 year old to eat more?
Our 5 year old did this kind of thing and we stopped giving him sugar. He got his appetite back in a couple of days.

comment Why is my one month old kicking, grunting and eventually crying when I hold her?
If you hand her to Mom, does she stop? Kids are pretty good at telling you want they want (if you give it to them is a separate issue). Some of my kids took a while to warm up to me, but they all did :)

comment will their constant car honking will affect my baby's(4 MONTHS) development and hearing?
The intensity of sound decreases with the square of the distance. Therefore if you are 30 feet away, it is 100 times LESS intense than if you were 3 feet away. If it causes you any discomfort (other than being annoyed), then you may want to look into it further. Otherwise, as @MathewFoscarini commented, maybe you need to move.

comment What are the biggest expenses for a new baby?
Aside from loss of income and possible medical costs please note that the expensive things are usually optional. It is the choices of the parents that typically makes things expensive or not. Babies come to this world with the need for milk, love, care, and warmth. All of the above are inexpensive. What we add to that for comfort/safety/etc... is mostly up to you.

comment How not to lose patience with toddler
True love is not **self**ish. When we as parents grow impatient, angry, or harsh, it is almost always because we have started putting self first.

comment What can be done to help bright children stuck in a boring school?
You could homeschool them. Worked well for me.

comment Should I try and prevent my child from becoming like me (in some aspects)?
Kids learn from their parents actions and intentions more than words and instruction. Haha... means it's time for you to change :)

comment Can a toddler tell if their mother is pregnant?
A few years ago, my 4 year old told us that "God told him that mommy was pregnant and going to have a boy". This was before we knew or even took a test. She was, and did have a boy. A lot of things are possible!

comment How do you know when it is time to take a child to the Doctor?
10 days isn't "every little thing". The tough thing about calling is the standard "CYA" answer of "bring them in". One time I went in, and found a waiting room full of 20 actually sick people, and promptly walked back out, figuring that there was a better chance of making it worse there than waiting it out. Part of being a parent :)
