@deworde sure, I understand your point and I agree with your reasoning.

Thanks for the answers and comments, I think I'm more ready to deal with the colds now.

@VincentHubert, I guess I'll brace myself for what's coming then. :) He has a younger brother who has already caught his cold a couple of times. At least I'm happy that he's "benefiting" from that. :)

Wow, thanks. Never thought of it this way, @Ida. I actually moved from Russia to the Czech Republic in 2011 and now that I think of that, I was sick more often right after moving.

@deworde I'm not asking for a diagnose, as Joe pointed out. My question is more about should I be worried or is it something more or less every child experiences when he/she goes to a kindergarten. Thanks for the link though.

comment How can I teach my son to behave nicely in the playground when other children make it hard?
sure, that's not real self-defense. But is it justifiable to let him, I don't know, catch the other child by the arm when he doesn't stop interfering with his game, after he tried talking? Or is it better to teach him to turn to authorities? I feel like the latter way would undermine his ability to defend himself on his own in more serious situations later on.

Thank you for your answer, it got me thinking. Teaching him to turn to a higher authority instead of defending himself doesn't seem like the right way to go. So, the other route would then be to teach him how to defend himself in those situations without too much aggression, right? I guess that would be a more useful lesson.
