comment How to teach tact and empathic understanding based communication to an INTJ (overly honest) child?
It does sound like the focus has been on intellectual intelligence rather than emotional intelligence. It may be a little bit late, but never too late to try and help individuals practice the softer side of tact.

Angie - this doesn't answer the question at all. Please re-read the tour pages for guidance on how to post here.

comment How are pregnancy ultrasounds administered?
Some UK hospitals offer the 3D ultrasound images in addition to the traditional 2D ones. In Scotland, I think it is only the private hospitals that do this, but I know of a couple of NHS hospitals in England that have the facilities.

comment What is a fair way to punish a sibling who unintentionally erases another's Saved Game?
Of course it is just a game! No one is hurt. And it's an accident. Punishment would not be appropriate. Chris has the right approach - a bit of chat, get the other child to apologise and move on!

comment Writing from the bottom up
Calvin - I head up a technology division in a multinational company, and have done the same for global consultancies. And I have to tell you your viewpoint is at odds with...pretty much everyone. Happy to chat about it in Parenting Chat but focusing on technology at the expense of core skills will make you much less employable. Technology is important, but only as enabler - supporting skills you already have. I certainly would not employ someone who had illegible handwriting, unless there was an extraordinary reason to do so.
