How to improve my 9yo child's short term memory try lumosity.com. It's a payed service, but it worth it. They give you games to train memory, attention, speed, flexibility and problem solving. You can set what are the areas where you want to concentrate the most. It's fun because you just play games. It helped me to improve my memory( i'm 30 yo :) ) I'm sure kids would like this type of learning. |

Can Not Speaking Be Due To Just Plain Refusing To Speak? BTW our pediatrician said that if you said 'NO' to a kid and he is throwing a tantrum, best thing to do is to leave the room. Child demands attention, by NOT giving him your attention during his tantrum you show him that what he is doing is wrong. Praise him with your attention when he is behaving nicely. I haven't tried this yet, but I think that's a good advice |

new tooth has a black color (baby 8mo old) Right. The bruise had shape of a tooth, may be a bit bigger, and was right on the place were tooth is supposed to be. So until it was gone I couldn't figure out if it was a gum or tooth. |

new tooth has a black color (baby 8mo old) the only vitamins we give (as per doctor's recommendations) are: vitamin D and fluoride supplement(starting from 7month since our area doesn't have it added to the water) could it be flouride? |
