As you are asking for legal advice your question is very off-topic.

Combine the two - Juniorita!

comment At what month of pregnancy should the DHA intake be started?
I would agree with @TorbenGundtofte-Bruun, this is asking nutrition, not health advice and is our of scope for the forum. I don't think many on this forum would be able to answer your question anyway.

comment At what age should I explain to my kids that we don't believe in God?
I'm not religious myself, but I think your question is going to be offensive to those who are which is not what this forum is about. I think you have a fair parenting question, but it needs work.

That's a great suggestion and definitely worth a try.

comment Toddler Plays in Bed and Won't go to Sleep
@Dave, it's unusual that a bath gets a kid fired up, usually the opposite as it is supposed to relax them, but all kids are different.

comment How can I tell parents of a 1-year-old that they're doing it wrong?
Humans tend to fall back to what they know when they're under pressure, and for many military types that means lots of shouting, which doesn't work with children. As painful as it is to see the only reason it is your problem is that it is in your house.

comment What is “Tummy Time”
Right @mmr, It's used in the UK for sure, I've heard it in the US as well, but not as much.

comment What do you do when your child's Christmas Wishlist is full of things you cannot get her?
haha! I love it, the old high-ball technique, and she's just a kid! "I want a little sister! I want a little sister!" "Ok, how about a puppy then?"

Santa is a big lie in the first place. If a parent has a desire not to poke a hole into the Christmas myth then lies are part of the game.

comment How to encourage our guest's kids to clean up the room from toys before leaving?
That would be ridiculous, but it does happen in many homes!

I agree @TorbenGundtofte-Bruun, some may not think that way, I just thought it was important to say as none of the answers brought it up.

@DVK, I think whomever wrote that post on skeptics is familiar with constipation. Whew.

comment My child is constantly hungry. How do I keep her feeling fuller?
@balancedmama, just a suggestion but you could ask a question on the cooking stack about good ways to add healthy fats. I'll answer there too ;)

@ChristineGordon, thanks for that, I appreciate the compliment!

comment My 8 year old son won't fall asleep
I try to avoid it myself when possible, it's too often a way to express anger than show the right way to go, but sometimes unavoidable.

comment My 8 year old son won't fall asleep
I agree with @ChristineGordon, this isn't defiance. He's not screaming and being disruptive, he just isn't tired or something is keeping him awake.

comment My 8 year old son won't fall asleep
@ChristineGordon, I didn't phrase it the best so I can see why you are confused. I've edited to add that punishment (or any attention really) at the time is the problem. Any attention whether positive or negative when he's awake at night is positive reinforcement of the behavior.

comment How to avoid association of child's room with time-outs?
Well if the goal is to get him to change his behavior and it works then great.

comment What are some great techniques for encouraging a reluctant reader?
Good point @ChristineGordon, I did mean a broader range of learning disabilities, and I've edited accordingly
