When and how is circumcision done? Not sure why it down voted - it is a valid question. |

Should we give our infant baby food to avoid feeding at night? It is worth noting that a fresh baby has a large reserve of iron that will last until they are about 6 months old, after that the need to start taking some solids in addition to milk. Iron fortified rice cereal (as mentioned) as a good start. |

What should I do when my toddler climbs out of her crib at night to play? This is what we did with ours. Minimal interaction so there is no reward for getting out of bed. |

How do you discipline someone else's child? @BBM - Possibly, but a nanny has been given authority by the child's parents to care for and discipline that child. I would avoid overstepping boundaries without explicit authorisation from the parents otherwise you can get in weird situations. Even asking of that authorisation may be considered a slap in the face for the parents. We lost a long term friend last year when she decided to interject herself into a school yard disagreement between my 9yo and her friend. Dealing with others' offspring is fraught with danger. |

How can I make learning English fun for a 14 year old? Sorry, I was referring to novels. You could start looking at "Captain Underpants" or "The Hardy Boys" to work out what level she is at. Amazon often lets you read the first few pages of a book online so you can gauge its appropriateness. My 9yo is an avid reader, so for her there is nothing more fun that a new book. |
