Embarrassing experience with my nephew; Should I tell his parents? Good point. Most likely when I'll go through potty training to my own daughter my view will drastically change. :) |

Toddler always get close to the TV, might it point on bad eye sight? @Torben is correct, that's not what I meant in this question. :) |

Toddler always get close to the TV, might it point on bad eye sight? Well, today she sat with me in a different spot about double the distance to the TV than the couch and she seemed to see just fine, telling the characters names etc. Good suggestion about birds in the sky and recognizing me from a distance, will give it a try. :) |

Toddler always get close to the TV, might it point on bad eye sight? Thanks, we do tell her "well done" every time she gets back to the couch and we do sit besides her - but she just gets down after few minutes. |

Toddler always get close to the TV, might it point on bad eye sight? Good point, but I don't think that's the case (story is so exciting that she wants to be closer to it). She doesn't try to touch the screen or anything and when on the couch, she still interacts with the characters in the same manner. |

Toddler always get close to the TV, might it point on bad eye sight? @BrendanLong because as far as I know, it's not healthy to sit so close - it's 42 inch screen, so sitting too close might cause neck problems, not just eyesight problems. |

Toddler always get close to the TV, might it point on bad eye sight? @corsiKa honestly I don't know, my wife handle those things. Her last (and only) check was long ago, when she was about one month old. |

Any way to prevent bedwetting before it's actually starting? Thanks! I totally agree about being supportive and understanding instead of punishing or scolding. You suggest to tell my daughter of the "risk" of her becoming bedwetter even though it's just something that might happen? Or do you mean only reading the book myself? |

Any way to prevent bedwetting before it's actually starting? Thanks, I'm not talking about accidents - well aware it might happen - but bedwetting every night even when fully potty trained. Your advice is good and reasonable, totally agree that there's no need to stress and of course never punish for such a thing. However this all apply to the time after bedwetting happens, if it will happen. |

Any way to prevent bedwetting before it's actually starting? @mmr I don't know what to expect - from what I read and quoted above I understand 44% chance of bedwetting but it does not say what kind. I had that problem for several years long after potty training was over most likely due to psychological reason but back then (almost 30 years ago) nobody bothered to really look into it very much. No drink sounds like reasonable tip, will keep that in mind. :) |
