I am Brazilian software developer with experience in Java, Python and C and interested in a lot of other languages and technologies (such as Linux, Mac OS X etc.). How to stop a baby of trying to reach things that he really wants? My solution is: I got the keys from my sister apartment and go there to work every morning, returning in the afternoon for staying with my son. Nonetheless, some people cannot use the same solution, so I am select as an answer the one below with more suggestions (although they all are good). |

I am cogitating to stop working and just take care of my son - actually, I would wholeheartedly prefer to do it - so I could answer your question as "I am babysitting". Nonetheless, the question can be helpful for people who do not have the same flexibility I have, and it would be nice to be able to work with a baby too... |

However, I am in a somewhat unusual situation: I lost my job and it is a bit difficult to find a new one now (mostly because I am cherrypicking, I confess). I have saving to keep my family for a long time but I would like to supplement them with freelancer jobs. Also, my wife works at home, too, and I like to keep her free most of the time. Before being fired, we were thinking about changing to a bigger apartment where the baby could have his place but this is not very wise right now :) |
