comment How to put a newborn/infant to sleep to bed without waking her?
Interestingly enough, the floppy arm test has been a total fail for my second child after the newborn phase. She is rarely in a deep enough sleep to transfer. I pretty much have to put her down wide awake or hold her until I want her to wake.

comment When do baby's gas pains usually go away?
My pediatrician said something similar - usually 12 weeks but sometimes up to 16. My older daughter had problems until about 15 weeks. My younger is 17 weeks and still dealing with issues. Some babies apparently will have them until they are more upright and mobile and the digestive system is done rapidly changing at 6 months.

comment Is my pediatrician missing something about my 3 month old's gas pain?
@CreationEdge - yes, a family member who is a pediatrician suggested Simethicone. It seems to help somewhat, but not entirely. At this point I am also considering some sort of more serious elimination diet myself, evaluating the baby to see if she needs a tongue or lip tie clipped, chiropractic manipulation, prescription drugs, and begging for a referral to a pediatric GI. Studies suggest that probiotics help with colic, which was why I tried them.

comment Extremely fussy and refusing to sleep 12 week old
All of this. The wonder week around this time is shorter (I think usually half a week) and the growth spurt up to 5 days. It's the next wonder week that can go on for up to 6 weeks.

comment Two year old still takes a bottle of milk before bedtime, should I wean her from the bottle and the milk?
On top of these concerns, don't most parents implement a "no liquids in the 1 hour before bedtime" (or so) cut-off when night time potty training? It was for that reason primarily that when I weaned my daughter I did not replace her nursing session before bed with any sort of liquids but went with extra cuddles instead.

comment What should my wife eat and drink during pregnancy?
This seems far too broad (as the possible spectrum of answers is nearly everything) and too personal (as your wife has her own unique tastes) to be a good Stack Exchange question.
