Hyperemesis in second pregnancy if not in first? My wife had hyperemesis with our first child, and was admitted into hospital on two occasions. For the second, she had morning sickness, but nothing as severe. |

How do I tell my parents that my wife and I are pregnant? Congratulations. My sister phoned my Mum on Mother's day, and casually wished her a "Happy Grandmother's Day". It took her a little while to work it out, but when she did... :-) |

How can I pick my son up from daycare without a struggle? In my experience, this can be a dangerous game. Essentially, by saying that you're leaving, you are bluffing. Some kids will call your bluff and refuse to chase after you. If that happens, you are caught out, and the child may start to get suspicious of anything you say. |

Can putting a one year old baby in a playschool for around 7 hours, daily, cause any psychological issues to the baby? My son started nursery at 4 months. (We'd rather have waited, but circumstances dictated.) It's really not right to think of it as "throwing" them in. Nursery/playschool is a fun and caring place where your child can develop and learn, with trained professionals to help. That said, it's important not to leave your child somewhere you don't feel comfortable with. Maybe you could look at some nurseries, and talk to the staff? |

Can putting a one year old baby in a playschool for around 7 hours, daily, cause any psychological issues to the baby? That's quite subjective... I don't think so. Children soon adjust to their circumstances and learn to love them. It would never occur to them that anything could be different. |
