I am a teacher of Navi to 6th and 7th graders as well as a technology teacher to grades k-3 in a Jewish Day School in Stamford, CT. I am married and have four wonderful children who keep me on my toes.

May 16	comment	How to teach a 2 year old to go on the toilet? Sit him on the toilet to 'finish'. He is trying, obviously, he just doesn't recognize the feeling in time. Try to see if you can figure what time of day it happens and get him on the toilet preemptively. Keep in mind that this is developmentally normal and he will get it, just give him time.

Be careful that the two year old doesn't get 'addicted' to being able to get you whenever at night. By two, assuming the child is healthy, he/she should probably be able to go without it.
