Why should children be rewarded for good behaviour? @ViliamBúr: Yes, this is basically what I try to say in the last paragraph in my answer. |

How can I help my 4 yr old adjust to junior kindergarten? Good point about the fruit. At my son's school, they actually have an organized fruit meal after first period to boost energy for the rest of the day. |

Should I encourage my 2½ year old to attempt to “read” his own stories? ..or ask your 5 year old... He/she knows! |

Does feedback from a baby monitor result in hearing loss? @bobobobo: Good point, although from the child's position, the direction of the sound is away, so it would not be that loud for him as for you. |

Why are parents so concerned about profanity around their children? +3 for "used mainly when stupid people have run out of the right words to say". (+1 for the rest... Good answer). |

When should I allow a child to swear? @Shantali: I guess when he say 18, he really means "when the child is legally independent, and the parents does not really have the rights to tell them what to do". |

At what age should siblings stop sharing their bedroom? Well that kind of proves that it can work well for some, but not for others... |

At what age should siblings stop sharing their bedroom? Maybe you got along well because you shared bedroom? It could be interesting to see others experience around this... |

How do you respond to minor injuries? Good point. With our youngest son (2yrs), we are actually a bit conserned if he's already a bit too tough, but that is not because how we have dealt with him - he just seems to cope with pain better than most kids his age. It has made us be very aware on how he's crying, and distinguish between his cry when actually hurt (requires comforting) or cry because he doesn't get his way (quite common). |

Why should children be rewarded for good behaviour? Fixed wrong use of word "your". Meaning in this text is "You are", and short form of that is "You're", not "your". |

Why should children be rewarded for good behaviour? @TorbenGundtofte-Bruun: I guess the why is answerd by the 3 last words: "... and it worked!" |
