Is it really that bad to get water in an infant's ear? Agreed ! We started going to the swimming-pool with kids around 4-5 months. At the moment only one small ear infection was caught (she's 26 months), not even related to swimming and it was cured very quickly. However while she was under treatment, the doctor recommended to avoid water for a few days. |

How to change a one track mind? A suggestion is to take things lightly and mock the situation a little bit. Just as an example, my daugher is 26 months old (so mentality should be close) and now refuses to kiss me hello when I come back from work. I've found a good way to change her mood is to repeat while laughing "no kisses for dad" or something similar. After a while I start tickling her, she starts laughing out loud and I can get a kiss and a moment of good mood from her. |

How can I get my toddler to eat as well for us as he does at daycare? Have you tried new toys / toys he isn't using so often ? Or singing a song or telling a story ? My daughter eats so much better when she does not realize it. |
