How can my toddler learn to stay under the blanket at night? @WilliamGrobman: I think this (tinyurl.com/3p99nek) is the type of "sleeping bag" he's referring to. |

Is the “1 2 3 Magic” strategy for disciplining effective? For the most part I agree with this answer, except for the "straight to punishment" part. For younger kids (2 or 3), their memories aren't as consistent as older children, and they can legitimately forget being punished for something just a few days earlier. Reminding them they are misbehaving, by counting or otherwise, gives them the benefit of the doubt. After that though, definitely punish them consistently. |

When should a child see Star Wars: A New Hope This question seems both too vague and too specific at the same time. |

What are some fun (no TV or computer) activities that a 2 year old and a 4 year old would enjoy together? Legos are super great. In the same category, a plain set of blocks are great for encouraging creativity. (Maybe not so great when your 2-year-old is more into knocking things down, but maybe in a year or so.) |

Is there any scientific evidence in favor of co-sleeping with children? This is a very well-thought-out answer, I want to upvote it again. |

How young is too young to start wearing makeup? +1 because it's really all about the attitude and social views rather than the make-up itself. |

What should parents consider when selecting a pacifier? @DanBeale: I hadn't thought of that, but it's a good point. I don't know of any baby having silicone allergies. |

How many toys are enough/ too much? Is your baby learning to operate a bandsaw and do complex geometry before the age of 3? Impressive. (+1 for the suggestion of ditching toys they don't play with, that will really help with clutter.) |

How many toys are enough/ too much? I love the meta-value comment, I had never thought of those toys that way. |
