Is it normal for a husband to sleep significantly more while his wife is pregnant? Great questions. I have experienced the same thing recently. I didn't realize that sleeping could be part of the "sympathy pains." |

Is the “1 2 3 Magic” strategy for disciplining effective? The basic idea behind the book is to issue a warning and then begin counting to three. If the child does not listen by 3 they receive some form of punishment. The book goes into greater detail about when it is appropriate to use the count method and when it is not. Such as using it for stop behavior (stop hitting your sister) rather then start behavior (start eating your veggies). |

What to buy to prepare for the arrival of a new baby? Along with what JBRWilkinson said, make sure you know the return policy of the stores you are shopping at. Some stores only have a 30 day policy, so if you buy stuff you are not sure you will need more then a month before the baby is born, you may not be able to return it. |

What television shows could I show my toddlers to encourage multilingual learning? Just to add a little to your gut feeling, my daughter watches Dora the Explorer regularly and knows how to say quite a few things in Spanish only from watching the show. |
