Is it a problem to go to sleep just after a big dinner? Thanks Morah. When he wakes up he cries a bit to call us but it doesn't look like he had a nightmare. He is not very awake but nor is he in the morning... He is conscious however. This night he had to go to the pot to do the big thing. He is going back to sleep without problems. |

Is there any problem with same-sex siblings sharing a bedroom when there is an 8 year age gap? Fixing some typo and removing "please thank" |

Is it okay to let a baby cry at bedtime? Sorry, but raising kids IS easy, almost everyone does it on Earth. It is not like doing math or studying laws, it is much closer to cooking: a task that some people in the spoiled "first-world" can think is very hard and that one must read a ton of "helping" books about it. But in fact it is a task that most normal (i.e. unspoiled) people will handle just fine, following common sense, their own feelings of love for their offspring, and some parts of their traditions. In my culture (French), it is not only OK but good practice to let kids cry for a reasonable amount of time. |

Is it okay to let a baby cry at bedtime? -1, This is one more of the too many "new educational ways" that are just culpabilizing parents for not being careful enough, which results in stressed parents trying to be better than the best parents, and in the end you have spoiled children and exhausted guilt-filled parents. A crying baby is a NORMAL THING, it happens everyday since 10000 years or more. The Tao-te-ching already talked about it. Crying is a normal activity for infants, like sucking their feet, it may have a cause, but not always. It is also a way to try the world around. |

What age can I expect to not need a stroller? Well, for example if he holds the toy of his friend and don't want to give it back, I may take it. |

Some techniques to avoid wet pants I am not very much into bargaining and rewarding, when I can avoid this artificial tricks. However, I note the idea to make changing pant less comforting for him, and will tell his mother. |
