Is it reasonable to put limits on a pre-teen playing video games? Whatever you do add a day once a while they can play a huge block of time untill they are completely tired of it. Only setting limits would get them into a habit of wanting to play. |

Should we put our baby in a helmet to mold her head? Ask someone knowledgable about hair makeup if it could be an actuall problem later in life. |

Should we use special detergent/washing powder for the laundry of baby clothes? (UK) I'd just use very little washing powder. |

How can I get my primary-schooler to remember to turn off the light? I'd even go for a 'slow/easy going' punishment system. If he forgets to turn of the light, turn on the lights in his room so he knows he forgot to turn off the lights somewhere. |

What size schoolbag is good for a first-grader? As light and small as possible. I would go for a little safe on location to store the heavier stuff. |

How do you determine what the age-appropriate foods for a baby are? The child knows best. Simply let the child decide when its time to start eating food. Give him little pieces to chew at and if he likes it hell ask for more but only start with a couple of pieces at a time to see how he reacts. |

How do you warm the milk in a-drop in liner style bottle? Fluids don't really form 'hot spots' if you let it stand for a minute or so. |

How can you deal with tantrums without spanking? Sometimes the tantrums are not about that fact that he doesn't wants something but that he wants to do/eat/drink it himself. |

How can I brush my toddlers' teeth when he won't let me? Great advice, the child can't see whats happening without the mirror and it should help to see that nothing scary is happening. |
