comment Sleep in booster seats
Try turning the C-shaped pillow around? So that there's nothing in the neck. Some pillows don't stay in place like that but some do!

Indeed, this question is both clearer and more precise than OP's earlier questions. It's a good one.

comment Dealing with an irresponsible 30 year old brother-in-law
Look beyond the immediate symptoms! If cycling to work is not an option, and he doesn't have reliable access to a car, then he's not equipped to work that job. He needs to look for a job that he can hold down without having to rely on other people (or bother them with).

@Joe, what other natural consequences are there? E.g. he'll be sent home again because he's not allowed in undressed. And he'll want to be in there? It can be hard to find or realize the natural consequences that would reinforce your goal.

comment How to cover base heaters corners
I think this is an excellent solution, and I don't see a heating hazard as long as the corner guard is relatively small. You could probably cut out a useful shape from a pool noodle or similar item you already have that can be partially sacrificed.

Going to kindergarten in pajamas has happened more than once in my family, too. By the time the kid shows up in the group in pajamas he definitely wants to get dressed, and it's a perfectly safe and simple way of teaching him natural consequences of his decisions.
