comment How can I get my 12-month baby to sleep in her bed?
I edited this to get rid of the irrelevant (and frankly quite belittling) argumentative part, and kept the recommendation, which is good. That way I avoid having to downvote it and can upvote it instead.

comment What is the best way to transition from away from co-sleeping
"He can be sleeping in his bed next to yours" - In which case he is NOT sleeping in your bed. "he can be sleeping in his bed with a gap between his and yours" - in which case he is NOT sleeping in your bed. "should I continue?" - If you like. But yes, if the kid accepts sleeping in the same room as a substitute, that's good, but it is still not in your bed.

comment What are the key considerations when selecting a potty?
Changing to this as selected best answer, because this is exactly our experience. You could probably superglue some weights to the bottom of it to fix the "sticky-flaw".

Late comment with more experience: Yes, it's a good idea once that kid get's close to three years or so. At less than two it wasn't a hit.

comment What home-safety aspects should new parents consider?
@Hilmar Things may be fool-proof, but they can never be kid-proof. They can only buy you extra time to react. Door stops will not prevent kids from removing the stops. Plugs in your non-safe sockets will not prevent the kid from removing the plugs. And a child barrier will not prevent the child from climbing over or opening it. It just means it takes longer, so you have an extra chance to prevent the accident.

revised At what age can you leave the child in the bathtub?
I'm still so confused by that comment that I now remove it.
