I caught chickenpox about a month ago and my wife caught it 2 weeks ago, both of us have recovered now, but my 7 weeks old son has started showing signs of chickenpox today.

My wife had continued to breastfeed the baby even when she was infected, hoping that some of the antibodies will get transferred to the baby through the milk.

I am looking forward to listening from people who had similar experience about what is it I can do to help my baby get well soon.

All medical questions like this really end up with the same answer: "Call your doctor." – afrazier Feb 13 '12 at 20:08
I'm sorry, but questions regarding specific medical advice are off-topic. You absolutely should consult with your pediatrician. – Beofett Feb 13 '12 at 20:30
