Parenting Stack Exchange is a question and answer site for parents, grandparents, nannies and others with a parenting role. It's 100% free, no registration required.

My computer is used by my kids who are in 10 to 15 years of age. I want to monitor that what they do in my absence. I want to see that when they turned on or off computer. What sites did they open. With whom they did chat. Screenshots after every x minutes etc.

I do not necessarily want that this info is emailed to me or their passwords are saved. I just want to monitor their activities.

Please suggest me some good freeware software that can log everything in my computer.

Welcome to the site, mysterious! Would this question get better answers on a different SE site? Even though it's pretty much a polling / list question? –  DanBeale Aug 30 '11 at 10:56
This question is not about parenting, it's about how to use a computer for a certain purpose. Superuser.com is the appropriate site to use, and there are several relevant questions there. –  Torben Gundtofte-Bruun Aug 30 '11 at 11:29
I disagree. So what if this is a technical question - it pertains to parenting. –  ron M. Aug 30 '11 at 17:56
perhaps there should be an 'answer' here referring to the relevant questions on Superuser.com ? –  Randyaa Sep 1 '11 at 17:30
